firmus energy sponsorships

Some of the local community events we sponsor include:

firmus energy Northern Lights Night Race

26 Extreme joined headline sponsor firmus energy and Causeway Coast Council to officially launch the firmus energy Northern Lights Night Race taking place in Portstewart. Portstewart is a key town in our network area in which we have over 1,000 customers to date.

The firmus energy Northern Lights Night Race is the first ‘Plastic Smart’ run on the island of Ireland. Local outdoor events company, 26 Extreme is currently very resourceful utilising multiuse marking and signage which is reused at each event, print material kept to a minimum and 99% of participant information being digitised. However, the company has committed that every item at the firmus energy Northern Lights Night Race will be either reused, recycled or biodegradable and single use plastic bottles will be unwelcomed.

firmus energy Super 6

Dame Mary Peters joined young athletes from Lagan Valley Athletics Club to launch the firmus energy Super Six series. Organised by Lagan Valley Athletics Club, the popular longstanding series has been a firm favourite in the athletic calendar and sees more than 700 participants from across Northern Ireland take part.

Over the last 25 years, it has encouraged young people to come out and have a go at the sport, as well as helping to develop some of these athletes into serious global competitors.

firmus energy Ballymena Saturday Morning League

In 2014, firmus energy secured the headline sponsor for the Ballymena Saturday Morning League. The long term sponsorship has allowed the league to grow in size and introduce a ‘player of the month’ accolade. The league was renamed ‘firmus energy Ballymena Saturday Morning League’ and the partnership has developed over the years to what it is now.
