Super green Bacon & Halloumi Salad!
Struggling to get your greens in each day? This tasty salad will set your taste buds on fire and set you on your way to your 5 a day! Think BLT in a salad- YES!
Ingredients:
- 2 slices of halloumi
- 2 slices of grilled bacon
- 1/2 avocado
- 1 handful of water cress and mixed salad
- 1 tsp of sunflower seeds
Method
- Preheat your grill and once hot add your slices of bacon.
- Mean while slice your halloumi cheese and avocado
- Once the bacon needs turned (usually 5-8 minutes) add the sliced halloumi to the grill
- Place water cress and half your avocado into a bowl.
- Once bacon is cooked, dry off with a paper towel and cut into small pieces.
- Start to layer bacon, avocado and halloumi into the bowl.
Sprinkle with Sunflower seeds
