The annual awards, run by Business in the Community and supported by JP Corry and Ulster Business, seek to recognise and celebrate firms in Northern Ireland that are making a difference by taking practical action to address pressing social and environmental issues.
Those shortlisted for the NI Responsible Company of the Year Award will demonstrate positive impacts across its people, the planet and the places where it operates and advocates the benefits to encourage others to follow.
Commenting on this nomination, Niall Martindale, Director of Pricing and Regulation and Head of the CSR committee for firmus energy said:

Some of the recent activities undertaken by firmus energy include school visits, sponsorships of a number of charities, nominated by staff, working with Habitat for Humanity and a number of other local environmental lead projects.
The winners will be announced on Thursday, 30th May during a ceremony to be held in the Waterfront Hall, Belfast. Other categories include:
