Get Some Install Quotes
We advise getting three installer quotes for the works carried out inside your home. You can select these installers from our gas safe registered installer list. This list can be found on our website or alternatively you can ask our energy advisor when they call to your home.
Fitting your meter
About 3-4 weeks after you have comfirmed you want to upgrade to natural gas, we fit a meter box on the side of your home.
Your local Natural Gas Installer Completes Internal Work
Your choosen natural gas installer will complete all works inside your home. This may include gas pipes and any applicances you may have decided to upgrade.

Is getting natural gas installed messy?
We always get asked this question and the simple answer is no. Your natural gas installer can upgrade your home to gas within one day. The team arrive in the morning, lay down protection mats where they are working and get the hoover out before they leave in the evening. The installers will remove your bulky oil tank and free up space in your hot press by removing your water tank. More space – no mess, no hassle, and no worries
How long does the install take?
Normally one day. Most of the installers on our gas safe registered list can complete a natural gas install within one working day. Of course every home is different so your installer will advise you on the works to be carried out and subsequent timeframes.
How much will it cost to upgrade to natural gas?
Every home is different so the total install cost will vary. However, we have calculated an average upgrade cost of around £2,200. That’s only £62 per month (over three years) with our 0% finance offer.

Do you need to dig up my driveway?
We often use a moling technique to connect your new meter box (on the side of your house) to our mains gas in the street. To do this we need to create small openings in the ground to connect the mains pipe to your new gas box. This procedure can normally be done very quickly, with minimal digging. Your energy advisor will fully explain this procedure before the works commence so you are at complete ease.
