Tullyglass signs up for dual benefits with firmus energy
Already enjoying the benefits of natural gas from firmus energy, the Tullyglass Hotel has now signed up to firmus for electricity, making the hotel the first ‘dual fuel’ hotel in Ballymena.
Tullyglass made the switch to natural gas from firmus energy over two years ago, and has since enjoyed the benefits of competitive energy costs, transparent billing and excellent customer service. The Hotel has already realised considerable cost savings by switching to firmus energy. Tullyglass will now enjoy further savings by signing up to firmus to provide its electricity requirements of around one million KWh each year, which is the equivalent of over 250 homes.
Alison Moore, commercial development manager, firmus energy commented, “We are delighted to welcome Tullyglass as a ‘dual fuel’ customer, and look forward to building on our relationship with them. We are the only energy provider offering Industrial and Commercial customers throughout the province both electricity and gas contracts, and businesses are clearly keen to take advantage of the cost savings associated with securing their energy needs from one supplier. Given the current economic climate, businesses are keen to make savings wherever possible, and also recognise the convenience of switching to firmus for all their energy needs. We are committed to open and transparent relationships with our customers, which is reflected in our straightforward billing approach, and are confident that we can offer our customers the variety of energy solutions which best match their business needs.”
Gus McConville, assistant manager, Tullyglass Hotel said, “As a business we have been delighted with the level of service provided by firmus energy, and are more than happy to extend this relationship for our electricity needs. As a natural gas supplier, firmus has consistently provided excellent customer service as well as significant savings. Catering for over 250 weddings a year and hosting gala dinners for up to 900 people, it’s no surprise that our electricity requirements are considerable and represent a large proportion of our operating costs, so we are very keen to take advantage of firmus’ competitive pricing. We are confident that they will deliver on their commitment to keeping our energy costs as low as possible.”
