launch of portadown business awards
The 4th biennial Portadown Business Awards were successfully launched on
Monday 15th September in High Street Mall.
Joined by individuals from local sponsoring businesses, the Awards
organisers, Portadown Chamber of Commerce are delighted to welcome firmus
energy onboard as Principal Sponsor for 2008.
Commenting on their decision to sponsor the awards, Mark Prentice,
general manager for firmus energy said, "The Chamber in Portadown are
extremely proactive and has a fantastic calendar of events for businesses in
the local area. We have been involved with the Chamber since we were awarded
the natural gas distribution licence to 12 major towns and cities across
Northern Ireland three years ago. Portadown has a flourishing and diverse
business scene and we know that these awards will attract a lot of interest."

The Gala event will take place on Thursday 6th November in the Craigavon
Civic Centre when Portadown Chamber of Commerce and firmus energy will be
