1000th Customer Milestone Awarded To Derry Family
The Killen household from Derry received a welcome surprise this week after being named as firmus energy’s 1000th customer in Derry.
To mark this milestone for firmus energy and to make the switch to natural gas even easier than usual, the Killen family received a £100 voucher to be redeemed against a gas appliance of their choice at Adairs, Chapel Road.
Neil Holland, head of sales and marketing, firmus energy said, “Our first ever domestic customer was connected in Derry back in 2006 and we’re delighted to have reached the milestone of our 1000th customer. Last week we strengthened the commitment we made back in January, guaranteeing that our price for natural gas will be cheaper than oil. This price promise is good news for customers, old and new as they can rest assured they have made the right choice by switching to natural gas from oil.
“The prize awarded also reflects our commitment to the communities in which we operate and our aim to encourage consumers to buy local and support the town’s retailers. We’re pleased to announce the Killen family as our 1000th customer here in Derry.”

The firmus energy staff were fantastic during the switch, very professional and efficient. We’re looking forward to heading to Adairs to spend our voucher and pick out our new gas appliance.”
