firmus energy the company bringing natural gas to twelve towns and cities across Northern Ireland, including Derry, recently announced that for the third year running they will be supporting the Foyle Cup, this year sponsoring the Under-10 mini-soccer tournament.

The event will run from July 22 -26 and is seen as one of the most important football competitions in Northern Ireland, as it presents an opportunity for the local youth to showcase their abilities.

The Foyle Cup attracts entries from football teams worldwide and is renowned as a tournament that launches the careers of young players aspiring to sign professional contracts.

Jennifer Lynott, marketing officer for firmus energy explains, "The Foyle Cup is one of the highlights of the sporting calendar in Derry and we are delighted to continue our support of the tournament as it provides a great opportunity for our local footballers to compete with others from across the world, develop their skills and possibly establish a career in the sport.

So far, firmus energy has brought natural gas to customers in Derry, Limavady, Coleraine, Ballymoney, Ballymena, Antrim, Craigavon, Lurgan Banbridge and Newry. The company will connect customers in Armagh and Portadown later this year.
