Can I get connected for natural gas in my town?
We are in the process of laying gas mains in a number of towns in the North West and along the South North pipeline. However not all streets are planned for connection. Please ring one of our Customer Service team on 08456 08 00 88 to find out if it might be possible to connect your property for natural gas.

A neighbour round the corner has been connected for gas - does this mean I can get connected?
Our mains laying in each of the towns is based around connecting industrial & commercial customers, new development sites and Housing Executive estates where there will be a certain gas consumption and where we can economically connect properties. Only by working in this way we can keep our prices low in the longer term.

We are only able to connect existing owner-occupied houses which are immediately adjacent to a mains pipe - if you contact our Customer Service team we can find out if your property is situated along the line of the gas main.

If I know my street will be getting gas, how quickly can I be connected?
Once we give your details to one of our sales representatives, he will contact you within 2 days to ask you to sign a gas application form and direct debit mandate for billing purposes. The sales person will also advise you on the procedure for talking to an installer about converting your heating system from your existing fuel to natural gas. Once the gas application form has been signed and the installation date confirmed, it will normally take us 30 days to connect the service pipework and the meter.
